Faces of New Business (2019-20)

Startup Stiwdio Sefydlu is a business incubation and coworking space set up by the University of South Wales right in the centre of Cardiff on their Atrium Campus.

This new space offers permanent desks, drop-in spaces, meeting rooms, and ongoing business support. But best of all, it is the ecology of unique startup businesses and the networks that coalesce around this space that are truly valuable. For a business lives and dies by the connections it makes.

The Startup Stiwdio’s manager approached Cooked Illustrations for a long-term partnership. As a way to create a cooler environment to work with, and to dispose with the coworking space cliché of polaroid photographs, we were tasked to make themed portraits of every member of the Stiwdio. Not just business, but the people involved.
